1. What Ownlybiz is
Ownlybiz is a software and infrastructure platform for independent professionals to create expert websites, communicate with clients, schedule sessions, and process payments. Ownlybiz is not the provider of any expert service, professional advice, employment service, agency, franchise, healthcare service, legal service, financial advisory service, gambling service, adult service, or marketplace guarantee.
Experts and clients contract directly with each other. Ownlybiz provides tools only and does not supervise, verify, endorse, control, or guarantee any expert service, outcome, credential, statement, advice, or deliverable.
Ownlybiz does not guarantee clients, revenue, search placement, leads, bookings, email opens, delivery, uninterrupted access, checkout availability, video/audio quality, payout timing, or any specific business result. Platform tools depend on third-party providers, devices, browsers, networks, payment processors, email providers, and hosting services.
2. No professional advice by Ownlybiz
Content, sessions, messages, receipts, listings, profiles, and platform materials do not constitute legal, medical, financial, psychological, tax, investment, or other regulated professional advice from Ownlybiz. Clients use expert services at their own discretion and should seek properly licensed professionals where required.
3. Payments, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks
Clients authorize session and service charges shown at checkout or in-session. Except where required by law, fees are not guaranteed refundable once a session starts or work is delivered. Experts are responsible for client disputes arising from their services. Ownlybiz may hold, offset, reverse, or recover amounts connected to refunds, chargebacks, suspected fraud, platform violations, or processor requirements.
4. Account responsibility
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, keeping credentials secure, and complying with all laws that apply to their use of Ownlybiz. Ownlybiz may suspend or remove accounts, content, domains, sessions, or payments when needed for safety, legal, processor, security, fraud, or policy reasons.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ownlybiz is not liable for expert advice, client decisions, service outcomes, lost clients, lost revenue, lost profits, lost business opportunities, reputational harm, indirect damages, technical interruptions, provider outages, or disputes between experts and clients. The platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Where a monetary cap is allowed, Ownlybiz total liability is limited to platform fees paid by the claimant to Ownlybiz in the three months before the claim or 100 USD if no such fees were paid. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some limitations may not apply.
Software subscriptions and payment services
Start with 2 calendar months without a software subscription charge. A payment method is required. Cancel before your trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. The trial is available once; plan changes do not restart it. Checkout confirms the exact first-charge date and recurring amount. Annual billing covers twelve months. Included usage follows the published paid and trial allowances for the selected plan. Purchased credits are separate and subject to eligibility.
1.6% per successful payment is the Ownlybiz service fee for US businesses accepting supported client payments in USD. Stripe deducts its actual processing, currency-conversion and other applicable charges from the expert’s connected account separately; processing is not included. Payment fees apply during the software trial. Currently eligible business locations: Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States. Payment terms depend on your business country; confirm them during signup. Australia: Ownlybiz service fee: 1.6% per successful client payment. Canada: Ownlybiz service fee: 1.6% per successful client payment. United Kingdom: Ownlybiz service fee: 1.6% per successful client payment. Under international direct-payment terms, client payments are in USD. The published Ownlybiz service fee excludes Stripe’s actual processing, currency conversion and other applicable Stripe charges, which the expert pays separately. Country and account eligibility remain required; subscription billing is separate. Accepted payment commitments retain their saved fee terms.
1:1 voice and video have no monthly minute limit under the current plans. Individual sessions remain subject to duration, access, payment and operational safeguards. Paid, free, promotional and discounted group sessions consume the applicable group allowance, as do sessions under an explicit finite 1:1 override. The dashboard shows applicable limits and remaining usage. Unused included allowances do not accumulate. There is no automatic overage billing. Existing paid obligations and separately agreed complimentary access remain subject to their own terms.
